Job Description


The Database Automation and Integration team is responsible for several key pieces of database infrastructure to support developer's access to their data. We help developers provision, connect, manage schema and secure their databases. In some instances, we manage all of those in an entire ecosystem for client data.

We are looking for a driven Software Engineer to help push our client data ecosystem into the cloud. They should be ready for a fast-paced migration of Tier 0 critical infrastructure. Our experience moving to the cloud will be used to guide migration efforts for developers across the company and build the automations to ensure cloud adoption is attainable across the company.


  • Maintain software Tier 0 infrastructure
  • Develop enhancements to migrate infrastructure to cloud
  • Use C# to manage SQL Server databases and instances
  • Support products across a wide range of languages: C#, C++, Python, Perl, and T-SQL
  • Integrate with multiple database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
  • Perform code reviews and coach engineers with respect to best practices
  • Continually strive to improve the team's development processes
  • Think and communicate critically about architecture, design, and best practices
  • Coordinate with other teams across offices and departments
  • Support our products with an on-call rotation

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience
  • 1-3 years of SQL development experience
  • Experience with C#, C++ or Python
  • Willingness to work as a member of a team, including participating in peer code reviews and maintaining project and operational documentation
  • Ability to work with a geographically diverse team
  • Strong technical communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using Perl, Typescript, and/or C
  • .NET software development experience
  • SQL database management experience
  • System automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, DSC, etc)
