About The Opportunity

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting in tasks and duties as directed by the intern’s manager. Provides support for critical business projects. Develops technical knowledge and leadership skills for future career.

Essential To This Position

This internship will be responsible for assisting the team with daily activity and projects starting this Spring 2020. In this role, the internship provides the opportunity to work with the Quality team and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infinity QS implementation: creating work instructions on how to use the system, train users
  • Create job break down sheets for Quality
  • Process spec verification project
  • FMEAs
  • Work with Quality Management and Operations to review and update processes at each customer.
  • Revise current documents and verify for clarity and format and obtain proper approvals.
  • Generate Quality Department reports
  • Raw material specification review and creation
  • Assist with implementation of new vision system
  • Lead top quality issue project team

 

 

Qualifications

  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior - Majoring in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or another relatable area • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA• Excellent communication skills and business professionalism • Strong work ethic and open to development with coaching & feedback • Proficient in MS Office applications • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Education Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
