Nor-Cal Beverage Co., Inc. is seeking an Pallet Yard Technician at our Production Facility in Anaheim, California.

Position Summary: The Pallet Yard Technician is responsible for ensuring the pallet yard and recycling programs are in compliance, recycling materials, ensuring the area is maintained in a neat and clean manner, as well as loading and offloading of shipments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times
Properly document and loading of Recycling Trailers and Flatbed Trucks
Operation of Forklift, certification required
Properly documenting and unloading inbound loads
Daily operation of Trash Compactor, Drum Dumper, Baler and cleaning of all related equipment and work area
Proper documentation of product location movement
Maintain proper GMP conditions in Recycling and Yard areas, including loading docks and warehouses
Notify Plant Manager of any discrepancies on incoming loads
Assist with physical inventories
Conduct daily business in a “self-directed” manner
Pallet ordering and pick up
Visually inspects pallet deliveries for damage, defects and overall quality
Roll off and dunnage trailer exchanges
Scheduling of drum and compactor pickups
Recycling center organizing
Yard upkeep, including sweeping
Other duties as assigned
Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management
Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required
Regular and punctual attendance
Math skills and basic computer skills
Possess current Nor-Cal Beverage forklift certification
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as working in a team
Must have good analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrates attention to detail, a professional attitude, and produces accurate work product
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.;
Three months related experience;
Or, equivalent combination of education and experience
Warehouse experience preferred
Language Skills: English is required, and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable
