The Principal System/Data/Analyst will be a member of the Enterprise Data Strategy and Management team. This individual will support complex data and system analysis and process and solution design to advance the business. Specifically, this individual will play a key role on the data security program working across the enterprise to understand the data security requirements, assess existing system architectures, and assist in the development of data architecture and process solutions. We're looking for someone who is passionate and has deep understanding of core data management components, is a self-starter, team oriented, and a great communicator, with the skills necessary to ensure successful growth and support of our data program.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units to understand the current state business processes, analyze the gaps and define target state policies, processes and procedures for data.
Research and define industry best standards and practices for data governance and data security, and play a critical role in facilitating the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the firm
The System/Data Analyst position possesses strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Can assess current state and can synthesize and identify use case and architecture patterns.
Present findings in a way that can be easily understood. You will need to write and speak clearly and be able to easily communicate complex ideas.
BS degree in a technical field
7+ years of experience in IT software development (such as Systems Analysis, Data analysis, Testing)
Familiar with relational database concepts, ETL tools
Experience in documenting end to end workflow for business processes
Experience with data governance and data security
Experience with working in large strategic projects across different functional groups
Great interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly .
A bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience is required.
