Must be a licensed MA (with BLS certification, will need to show proof at time of interview)
Experience as an MA with pain management is preferable Must be well versed in taking vital signs (BP, Pulse, RR, Temp) Experience with blood draw is preferable but not required Must have good communication skills and a pleasing personality Family is the core of the company's beliefs. Long term employment preferable Being able to speak Spanish in addition to English is preferable but not required
Description of responsibilities: Preparing exam rooms and setting out necessary supplies, preparing medical chart, escorting patients to exam rooms, reviewing medical information, taking vital signs (weight, blood pressure, pulse RR, temperature), Assisting physicians during office examinations and injections, patient education, obtaining diagnostic tests ordered by the physician such as images, telephoning patients 2 days after procedure for post check, assisting with fluoroscopic procedures, assisting with answering telephone calls, assisting in scheduling appointments, assisting in calling patients to remind them of appointments, reviewing new patient charts to help ensure all past medical information is complete and telephoning patients or referring physicians.
Salary based on experience. Will be discussed during phone interview. Part time position with chance of full time position after 3 months.
