Associate Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Oxnard, CA

Job Description:  

· Analyze Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.  

· Leading teams to develop solutions for improvement of service and product delivery systems.  

· Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate QMS integration into value added processes.  

· Facilitate and improve QMS feedback mechanisms.  

· Provide training to employees on QMS documentation.  

· Track and manage all feedback documentation.  

· Maintain QMS action tracking system and schedules.  

· Minimal travel required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:  

· Regularly required to sit.  

· Regularly required to use arms, hands, and fingers.  

· Frequently required to stand or walk.  

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.  

· Required to travel by car, airplane, and public transportation when necessary.  


Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance level Secret.  
  • 1+ years of engineering experience   



  • Active security clearance level Secret.  
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree  
  • 2+ years of entry level engineering services experience in defense industry  
  • 2+ years of process analysis experience in defense industry  
  • ISO 9001:2015 experience

Security Clearance: Secret
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
