The position requires qualified on-site technician to provide JBPHH Executive Leadership and Distinguished Visitors (DVs) immediate communication equipment, application, and OS support, troubleshooting, and repair.
The communications systems currently utilized are government issued mobile electronic devices (smartphones, tablets), Good Mobile Messaging Server, Window 7 workstations, Windows 10 workstations, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012, VoIP phones, and Printers.
The communications systems applications include Good Mobile Messaging Application, Active Directory, Apple iOS, Virtual Private Networks, Remote Desktop, and Remedy Ticketing System.
The candidate is responsible to troubleshoot and respond to Executive Leadership and DVs trouble tickets affecting government issued mobile electronic devices, Desktop Computing, SIPRNet/NIPRNet LAN/WAN, Printers, VoIP, Mobile Phones, and Wireless devices.
The candidate shall maintain Executive Leadership Equipment Support List, Location, and Security Approval documents.
Mobile Device Support
The candidate shall setup, configure, and troubleshoot all mobile devices.
The candidate shall provide technical support to end users for government issued mobile electronic devices.
The candidate shall perform software Vulnerability Scanning on government issued mobile electronic devices to identify outdated or unauthorized OS. (See Service Delivery Summary)
The candidate shall implement required software updates and patches to approved OS in government issued mobile electronic devices. (See Service Delivery Summary)
The candidate shall coordinate vendor support to troubleshoot update failures on government issued mobile electronic devices.
The candidate shall coordinate with the Base Equipment Control Office (BECO) to ensure issued mobile devices are properly accounted for in Advanced Inventory Management Systems (AIMS) Inventory. (See Service Delivery Summary)
IT Equipment (All Others)
The candidate shall setup, configure, and troubleshoot all NIPRNet/SIPRNet devices.
The candidate shall provide technical support for Desktop Computing, SIPRNet/NIPRNet LAN/WAN, Printers, and VoIP.
The candidate shall perform duties as a liaison between 747th CS work centers and the Leadership/DVs Executive.
The candidate shall answer support calls, e-mails, and tickets from CSAs, FSAs, and Customers as referred from CFP.
The on-site personnel providing Executive Leadership Communications and Messaging support shall have following
Experience in customer-oriented, IT Service Desk and Incident Response; providing technical triage, troubleshooting and solutions for mobile devices and essential information technologies.
The selected personnel shall have knowledge and experience the following minimum experience and/or certifications: At least five (5) years’ specialized experience in mobile device and IT systems administration OR have a professional certification equivalent to or higher than one of the following: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Certified Information Security System Professional (CISSP).
