In this role you will analyze existing systems and define, design, develop, and implement moderately complex technical products and systems. You will be a member of a team comprised of system engineers and application and hardware engineers/developers for the design of unique subsystems that will be ultimately integrated into the overall operating system.
Daily tasking may include developing analytics in Python or Pig to prototype data gathering methods. Candidate should have knowledge in data modeling, handlinglarge frameworks, and data analysis.
Participates in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations
Participates in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
Generates alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions
Participates in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers
Develops system design solution that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis
Nineteen (19) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management may be substituted for five (5) years of SE experience.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
