This position is for an experienced, motivated individual to serve as a strategic IT liaison and thought leader working with specific teams within Biogen's Medical organization. This person will focus on building strong partnerships and delivering operational, strategic, and impactful technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders to deliver and support technology-oriented solutions that align with the strategic business direction.
Lead through influence and partnership at all levels of the organization. Establish and maintain strong relationships to navigate within a matrixed organization.
Develop a Medical functional roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and impacted teams, and develop business cases and define projects that will deliver on the future roadmap.
Identify and partner with external service providers to deliver solutions and services.
Manage Medical technology delivery, including communication, platform/technology selection, pilots, implementations, and operations.
Establish yourself as a trusted business partner who can represent the business needs of specific functions within the Medical organization.
Ensure flawless execution of the functional project portfolio in collaboration with business analysts and project managers on the team.
Serve as escalation and coordination point of contact for major issues impacting critical Medical business operations
Stay abreast of best practices and new technologies in the BioPharma Medical technology space.
Utilize broad business and IT knowledge to proactively research strategic technological solutions and identify business opportunities enabled by technology.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
Excellent people skills
Ability to explain complex technology in simple ways.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant implementation and support of biotech or pharmaceutical technology capabilities, preferably within the Medical space.
An understanding of global biotech or pharmaceutical Commercial and Medical ecosystem, tools, and technology.
Proficiency in articulating how technology can be used to gain competitive advantage. High proficiency in creating business cases in the vernacular of your business partners.
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, and balance priorities with the ability to achieve positive results.
IT project management skills with the ability to keep multiple projects moving forward.
Portfolio Management and leadership skills.
Vendor Management experience
University degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related field of study is preferred.
