Job Description The Finance Governance team is responsible for the centralized SAP S/4 finance governance process establishing enterprise programs, policies and procedures while also providing a framework to manage, review, approve and execute change requests and enhancements. This includes establishing best practices and master data conventions. As a member of the team, the Finance Governance Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the overall execution of the Data Governance Process and being an ambassador for planned goals and objectives. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Finance Data Governance within the Finance Organization.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Support enhancement initiatives within the Data Governance process * Perform detail-oriented evaluation of submitted change requests ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to conventions. Following-up with the business if required * Update reference material and maintain the Finance SAP S/4 Repository share point site * Partner with key stakeholders to research and resolve issues as needed and provide general governance related support * Maintain the FX Rates in the system * Implement approved master data addition and change requests per established processes and procedures while maintaining logs and audit trails * Author and maintain detailed process documentation * Support the overall execution of the Data Governance Process * Be an ambassador for planned goals and objectives
Required Qualifications * 5 or more years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience with master data or financial system maintenance preferred * Knowledge of SAP S/4 and/or SAP experience preferred * Strong communication and analytical skills required * Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with a logical mind set * Extensive knowledge of excel, word, share point and power point * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and to prioritize accordingly * Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Proven ability to be a self-starter, to work independently with minimal supervision
Education Bachelor Degree, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or related field
