Seeking a proactive individual with knowledge of medical terminology to manage the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Verification Program. This manager will plan and implement site visits to participating facilities, manage related program activities and evaluate outcomes, and pursue program enhancement opportunities to grow participation.
Qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care administration, health policy, health education, or related field (Master’s preferred), 3-4 years’ experience in health care or public health administration with an emphasis in maternal and child health required, preferably including program management/development, needs assessment, evaluation, technical writing, grants management, and/or quality improvement experience. Intensive care nursing experience highly desirable. Travel and occasional weekend work required.
