Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a Staff Engineer for our Manchester, NH office.   Engineer will have the opportunity to support both local and national key projects, will work collaboratively with other engineers and planners on projects with airport authorities on Federally, State, regional, and locally funded airport improvement and development projects, and will take on the following responsibilities:          
  • Assist with civil airport, drainage/stormwater, and utility and traffic engineering designs of transportation networks and systems infrastructure.
  • Apply civil engineering techniques and processes to identify improvements for various project phases involving transportation engineering works including concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction and operation.
  • Obtain project data and information concerning transportation engineering works and requirements including drawings, specifications, project cost information, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports documenting all findings, conclusions and recommendations resulting from the analysis.
  • Perform all other duties that may be requested by the Transportation Engineering and/or Airport Division Manager.

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 4-12 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and communication skills, both written and verbal (English).
  • EIT License required.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
      
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer certification
