As a Software Engineer in Test for Statistics and Machine Learning, you will use your strong programming background to define test strategies, develop software test suites and conduct hands-on testing of statistics and machine learning features. You will participate in projects from their early stages and play a critical role in driving them to final product release.


Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in feature design and code reviews
  • Develop test strategies and test plans based on functional and design specifications
  • Design, maintain and execute automated test suites for statistics and machine learning features
  • Find, report, and qualify product bugs using an in-house bug tracking system
  • Collaborate with other engineers to resolve product bugs.


Qualifications

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science or Math.Concentration in data analysis, statistics, or optimization is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB or other scientific programing languages such as Python, or R
  • Self-motivated, multi-tasking and good time-management skills.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) such as Java, C++
  • Experience with Machine Learning is a plus

    • Experience with software development or quality engineering is a plus
    • Experience with JUnit or other xUnit frameworks is a plus


  • Experience writing tools for other people to use is a plus

Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
