In this position, you will use your C++ and Algorithm development skills to design and implement new capabilities for our flagship Simulink platform. Projects will include adding fundamental new capabilities for modeling and simulating complex large-scale systems, with emphasis on software architecture modeling. Responsibilities also include enhancing the performance of our simulation engine and adding new syntactic and semantic capabilities for block-diagram modeling. As a member of this team you may also be responsible for designing these new capabilities into our automatic code generator that creates real-time code for embedded applications from block diagram models.
You'll participate in all aspects of software development with enthusiasm: collecting requirements, writing specifications, coding, testing and collaborating with other teams. You'll quickly master numerous features in Simulink products and delve into a large code base and large test suites, and ship products that are essential to our customers' workflows.
At least3 years of practical C/C++ experience
Experience with commercial software development and large codes bases
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink and knowledge of control systems is a big plus
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
