Join the core Simulink web team and be involved in developing new test strategies and testing frameworks for automated testing of Simulink web infrastructure. Simulink is a block diagram environment for multidomain simulation and Model-Based Design. When organizations adopt Model-Based Design with MATLAB and Simulink, they improve product quality and reduce development time by 50% or more.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with our experienced software engineers to buildtests and tooling infrastructure for testingREST-basedservices and the underlying infrastructure. This position requires someone who has an eye for detail and is passionate aboutlearningand workingwithcloud-based technologies like docker.

Specific tasks include:

  • Design and implement test strategies for distributed microservices architectures
  • Extend testing framework for increasing testability, and contribute to the long term automated testing vision and strategy of the company
  • Analyze and report bugs and work with software engineers to resolve them.
  • Participate in functional specification, test specification, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Foster a continuous process improvement environment


  • Experience with JavaScript andbrowser-based testing (Qunit, Puppeteer, Selenium)
  • Experience with build and continuous integration systems (Maven, TeamCity)
  • Experiencewith web services, HTTP, REST
  • Experiencewith Linux containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Familiartiy with Golang is a plus
  • Familiarity with MATLAB is a plus

Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
