Join the Chromium Embedded Frameworks (CEF) Infrastructure team and drive forward the use of web technologies at MathWorks. The CEF Infrastructure team is integrating web browser technology into MathWorks products to allow developers across the organization to use modern web technologies to develop their features. Our libraries are responsible for allowing developers throughout the company to deliver their features across desktop and web platforms.
These web browser frameworks are critical to many next generation MathWorks features.
Come work on a high visibility team that is spanning the web and desktop worlds while driving core technology used throughout the company.
You'll work as a member of the CEF Infrastructure team to implement features, support downstream teams, and maintain our integration with external web browser technologies and move the project forward. Specifically you will:
Provide regular updates to the third party libraries that the team uses.
Design and implement features in C++ as identified by the team and downstream teams.
Work with internal teams to offer development support as well as identify requirements for future development.
Participate in all team activities including planning, design reviews, code reviews, and bashes.
Contribute to the open source Chromium Embedded Frameworks project.
Experience in web browser embedded frameworks (Electron, Chromium Embedded Framework, etc)
Experience in Embedded web browser controls (UIWebKit, .NET WebBrowser Control, etc)
Programming experience in Java
Familiarity with web development
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
Programming experience in C++
