Summary As a Software Engineer in Test for the Simulinkand Code Generation Test Frameworks area, you will have the chance to work on the fastest growing need in the Model Based Design world right now, which is efficient and effective automated testing.You will design and implement automated tests for test frameworks and tools used by internal and external Simulink users. This position requires a strong software testing mindset, excellent debugging skills and a passion to provide the best customer experience for both internal and external customers.
Design test strategies and implement automated system and non-functional testing for test frameworks and tools for the Simulink area and generated C/C++ code
Steward modern and sophisticated software development processes that ensure high-quality software
Qualify features in test frameworks and tools for the Simulink area and generated C/C++ code
Participate fully in the feature design and development process for Simulink and code generation test frameworks and continuous integration workflows
Exploratory testing to identify defects
Debugging and investigating failures
Reporting defects, working with developers to resolve issues, and verifying fixes
BS/MS in computer science, engineering or math
Experience with programming languages like MATLAB, Python or C++
Experience with Simulink or automated Code Generation
Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a highly cross-functional team
Nice to have:
Experience with Simulink and/or Code Generation
Experience with a test framework (example: Google Test, JUnit)
Experience with one or more Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
