ASI is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Analyst to work in the Havelock, NC area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Applies Reliability-Center Maintenance (RCM) methodologies
  • Uses analytical techniques to aid scheduled maintenance decision-making and RCM process improvements
  • Analyzes and recommends practices to integrate Prognostic Health Management (PHM) and Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) data and technologies into maintenance strategies
  • Collects and analyzes equipment lifecycle history (e.g., failure modes, downtime, depreciation value, MTBF, part availability, etc.)
  • Performs reliability analysis based on the concept of identifying the optimum failure mitigation strategy for each failure mode of an asset
  • Determines appropriate preventive maintenance requirements and other failure mitigation strategies for physical assets
  • Assists physical asset owners in implementing and improving cost effective maintenance programs

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least one year of specialized experience performing work that includes duties such as:
  • Evaluating industrial production processes and industrial plant equipment performance
  • Preparing, reviewing, or editing inspection reports
  • Analyzing and interpreting engineering data to provide project evaluations
  • Executing and coordinating quality management activities (e.g., field observations, testing, reporting, sampling, specification reviews)
  • Experience in a trade or craft may be credited as specialized experience when the work provided intensive knowledge of industrial processes, engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, specifically in MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or industrial technology; or Bachelor’s degree that included at least 24 semester hours in relevant courses
  • Knowledge of RCM
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Experience in an Industrial facility
  • Experience with maintenance on Industrial Plant and Facilities Equipment
  • Technical writing experience
  • Physical ability to maneuver around equipment within a large facility

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and qualify for a minimum of Secret Clearance
