Seeking an individual with excellent project management skills to oversee the journal management, budgets and creative product development for American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Grand Rounds, Hospital Pediatrics and other assigned products; and develop and manage editorial workflow procedures and related vendors that ensure adherence to quality, schedule, budget, and AAP policies.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, publishing production or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required, 3-4 years of related experience in publications/journal management, including production, editorial workflow, peer review and budget development and management, and previous experience with AMA style guide, product development and scientific/technical publishing preferred. Some weekend work, travel and overtime required.
