This position requires a highly motivated senior engineer to be part of a team of dedicated professionals in support of the GMT-B in Huntsville, AL. GMT-B is responsible for GMD GS test oversight for flight test, ground test, and cyber test to include requirements, planning, execution, and post-test analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate/Collaborate with MDA DT, GMT, GME, GMG, GMB, other MDA test organizations, and MDA-external organizations to facilitate the Ground Systems portion of the fight test events and cyber test events
  • Coordinate/Collaborate with the GM Prime Contractor test team to ensure GS readiness to support flight and cyber test events to include review of GS test documentation, checklists, and procedures; support GS test issue resolution; and GS open paper disposition
  • Lead the GS contractor support test team in support of MDA Flight test and Cyber test events
  • Provide on-site support to GMB Test Lead during flight test integration and execution phases at GS locations as required
  • Support mission readiness tests and post-mission silo refurbishments at VAFB as required
  • Support GS component, GM Element, and BMDS system-level cybersecurity test activities though all phases of test
  • Develop and provide executive briefs for the GS Test Division Lead to the GMB Director, GMD Program Director and other senior leadership within MDA as required
  • Lead/Conduct/Participate in GS Test Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Mission Data Reviews, and Post-test Analysis Briefings
  • Develop and brief GS inputs at weekly test meetings with GM leadership, GM Prime Contractor, and DT leadership

Education/Experience

BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or related field), and 5+ years of related work experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, desired
  • Self-starter
  • Active Secret clearance
