Commercial Roofers and Laborers: Maryland, Virginia, and D.C Areas! UP TO $35/HR

RSSI Roofing Company is a commercial roofing contractor, specializing in federal contracts, located in Essex, Maryland. We are seeking full time roofers and laborers to work at various projects throughout the Maryland and Virginia region. RSSI is a professional, value based, safety-oriented company with a strong commitment to teamwork. The positions that are currently open are full-time, with the possibility of overtime, and will be scheduled anywhere from 6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday. Positions start at $24/hour, and is negotiable based off experience. Prevailing wage scales apply on all government jobs and range up to and/or more than $40/hour depending on your work classification and location. Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License and a reliable mode of transportation.

Roofers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a roof mechanic. Must have fluent knowledge of the installation of modified bitumen and single ply systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC).  Steep slope experience (shingles, slate, standing seam metal) are a plus.  Must have fluent knowledge of materials, tools and machines used in the trade.

Laborers do not need experience in the roofing industry.  Must be able to work at heights.

All applicants:

Must be willing to travel and work out of town on large Government projects (lodging provided by the company).  Must have their own transportation and possess a valid, current driver’s license. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must be able to obtain  base access to government institutions.
