Job Description
Would you like to join CVS Health as part of our Finance team? As the Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting, you will assist with various accounting research topics and business unit accounting consultations, implementation of major authoritative accounting pronouncements, and the drafting, review, and documentation of accounting policies and positions.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
*Assist in coordination and preparation of various technical accounting memorandums documenting accounting matters and conclusions as they arise in the business
*Assist with review and accounting for stock based compensation agreements and expense recognition for the enterprise
*Aid in the preparation and review of materials summarizing company financial performance to management and the board
*Assist with the accounting for mergers and acquisitions, including the valuation of assets acquired and liabilities assumed, required disclosures, pro forma requirements, etc.
*Assist in coordination and preparation of annual and quarterly financial statement filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission including Form 8-K, 11-K, 10-Q, and 10-K Coordinate the periodic review of the Company's internal documentation with the Internal Audit group and external auditors in support of internal control assessment
*Partner with the Senior Managers of Technical Accounting and External Reporting to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
*Collaborate with various business segment and functional leaders and teams to understand and document accounting issues as they arise

Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 4 years finance/accounting work experience required.
CPA required.
Supervisory or managerial experience.
Extensive knowledge of U.S GAAP and SEC Rules, Regulations and Filings
Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
-Big 4 Public Accounting experience.
-Retail, Pharmacy Benefit Management and/or Insurance.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Detail oriented self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
-Proven standout colleague with ability to work with all levels of colleagues, including senior management, peers and subordinates

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
