The purpose of ergonomics is to redesign work through engineering changes to reduce the risk of individuals from developing musculoskeletal disorders. Through your internship you will learn to create software based on research and information developed from subject matter experts in ergonomics. The agile development process will provide insight to the necessary team dynamics to build world class software solutions. The position will require onsite attendance, and candidates must be eligible to lawfully work in the United States.
We are seeking an organized, self-starter who is excited to begin a career in technology, development, or data science. Interns may work with different teams during the internship, including Development, Development Operations, User Experience, Research and Consulting.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with our development and design teams to create workflows for Software As A Service solutions.
Using Agile methodologies to plan and track work, communicate with stakeholders, and build solutions.
Assist Research team with analysis of product data sets.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Data Science Engineering, or equivalent degree
Experience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple ongoing projects, and working effectively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Experience working independently, but can also be an effective team member
Pro-active learner and open to constructive feedback
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with Object Oriented programming with Java or C#
Familiarity with SQL
Desired Skills & Experiences:
Software life cycle experience
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
