The Salesforce Administrator ensures the accuracy, usability, and data integrity of the Ad Council's two Salesforce databases. Serving as the primary system administrator of our Salesforce environment with 50 users and over 51K organizational records, this role will provide support to the organization through the customization and configuration of the Salesforce platform, testing new functionality, listening to user feedback, offering solutions, and troubleshooting bugs. This person will also be responsible for creating and launching a formal onboarding and Salesforce training program, increasing user adoption company-wide.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improve user experience through the creationand configuration of custom reports, dashboards, page layouts, custom fields, custom objects, record types, fields, triggers, and validation rules
Manage Salesforcepermissions and security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups
Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
Troubleshoot and promptly provide end user support
Help transition the organization from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience
Manage third party integrations – Marketing Automation,Event Management software, automated feeds
Keeping abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
Analyze processes and recommend more efficient paths for the sales and client success team
Collaborate with team to design improvements to UI, reporting and business processes
Seek out and attend Salesforce and data management classes, webinars, and conferences
Maintain dataintegrity and accuracy, including record cleansing and duplicate record management
Manage Salesforcedata feeds and integrations, ensuring accuracy in monthly feed uploads via Sandbox testing
Integrate shadow databases (i.e. Outlook and Excel) into Salesforce
Work closely with other departments to ensure all contacts are efficiently and effectively being ingested into Salesforce.
Effectively act as the liaison between our users,development vendors, and application development
Train new users, and grow Salesforceskill set across the organization
Document user cases on existing tool set make recommendation on synergies.
Work with end users in order to gather requirements and understandbusiness needs
Develop and maintain up to date user documentation
Essential Duties & Skills:
Serve as primary administrator for Salesforce platform
Responsible for contacts, leads, opportunities, reports
Experience with workflows, reports, dashboards, process builders
Ensuring data integrity in the Salesforce system
Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions
Troubleshoot tech issues
Mentor and train in-house users across Salesforce platform
2- 4 years' experience administering Salesforce required, preferably in the non-profit or media sector
Having certification or equivalent Salesforce administration experience strongly desired
Proficient in Excel, particularly with advanced features likevlookup and pivot tables
Experienced with Data Loader and Dedupe tools
PriorSalesforce Lightning experience preferred
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communicator, with the ability to translate business and technical needsand interact with staff
Detail-oriented, while keeping the bigger picture in mind
Effective problem solver and predictive thinker
Ability to work independently
