The TravelClick Technology Operations team is looking for a seasoned Network Engineer. This position will be responsible for working with technology teams to design, implement, manage and support all network infrastructure within the TravelClick ecosystem. The individual will play a key role in identifying, researching, evaluating and recommending new network tools and other technologies.
Maintains TravelClick’s global data and voice network architecture including monitoring uptime availability, capacity and performance across all data centers and offices.
Works to engineer all network related projects including designing architecture that meets both industry and corporate standards including CISP, PCI and other standards.
Supports and manages network connectivity across all infrastructure (internet, voice, etc.) including occasionally working non-standard shifts for change windows as well as being a member of an emergency on-call rotation.
Conducts periodic security audits, risk assessments, penetration and high availability testing across all TravelClick sites and datacenters.
Develop and manage a network inventory (devices, circuits, etc.), maintain provider relationships and provide oversight and leadership in all network related projects and tasks.
Perform change and incident management functions using corporate processes and procedures.
What we are looking for
High School Diploma/GED required
3-5 years’ experience as a network engineer designing, implementing, managing and supporting multiple networks across varying technologies and platforms in 24/7/365 environments.
3-5 years’ experience working with service provider and/or enterprise class routers, switches and firewalls as well as working with multiple routing protocols including BGP EIGRP, OSPF and HRSP.
Experience working in high availability, heavy transactional environments.
Experience with information security and access management philosophies.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6) as well as DNS and DHCP fundamentals.
Strong network troubleshooting experience, logical and physical.
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Networking Certifications: CCIE, CCNP, or CCSP (Preferred)
