Concordance Healthcare Solutions is currently hiring a Systems Support Coordinator for the second shift in our Information Technology department. This position could be located out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota;Tiffin, Ohio; or Earth City, MO. Primary responsibilities of the position include the installation and configuring of computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone, via email, or in person.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 11:00am- 8:00pm EST/ 10:00am-7:00pm CST, with some weekends, as needed. This position also is part of a rotating on-call support team that responds to issues after business hours. The on-call rotation is a two week assignment that alternates every 8-10 weeks.
What You Will Do:
Work as first or second-line support for company end users. Utilize knowledge of information systems and apply technical expertise to computer hardware or software issues.
Answers help desk email and phone inquiries, assists with resolving end-user issues.
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults and replace parts as required.
Set up new users' accounts, profiles, workstations and deal with password issues.
Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.
Communicate with customers and other professionals across the organization.
Travel required 10% of the time.
Other duties as assigned.
What You will Need to be Successful:
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in computer support or in the business application of warehouse operations
Experience with VAI, IBM i,or similar warehouse operating system
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and projects at once
Self-starter who is able to work successfully within a team environment
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
