Job ResponsibilitiesViasat is looking for an experienced and talented Data Converter Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will help architect and acquire key high speed data convertor IP for use in our higher level innovative commercial and government systems. In addition, you will also technically help lead our IC development team to develop this IP internally if needed. Sound interesting? Keep reading....
Requirements*10+ years High Speed Data Converter circuit and system design experience*Familiar with the High Speed Data Converter technology advances*PHD degree of Science in Electrical Engineering*U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status may be required for some projects in which case, verification of such status will be required upon accepting employment. *Up to 10% travel
Preferences*>15+ years RFIC design experience*Demonstrated knowledge in high speed communication, phase array and radar system on chip design architectures *Ability to write technical proposals for large RF and microwave subsystems*Ability to technically lead a design team
