Responsible for developing and implementing process writing methodology to support the successful documentation of financial processes within the CBRE Finance organization. Works closely with and supports the Process team to ensure that all processes are documented, updated, consistently catalogued and adhered to the process writing methodology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts and documents moderate to complex financial processes.
Reviews existing processes and interviews process owners.
Documents written process descriptions and diagrams processes visually/electronically using MS Visio.
Updates and maintains file sharing sites with current processes and other supporting documentation.
Maintains library of completed processes and writes case studies outlining process improvement initiatives.
Performs simple to complex maintenance of day-to-day support tasks for the department.
Assists with process tracking by updating documentation plans and task lists.
Performs other duties as assigned
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work with a minimum of 5-8 years experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
