Merakey is seeking a Team Supervisor to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in the Penn Hills, PA area.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
The Team Supervisor (TS) is a management position, responsible for the direct supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and oversight of day to day operations of assigned homes.
The TS holds primary responsibility for site based compliance to PA Office of Developmental Programs' regulations, Administrative Entity (AE) requirements and implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and Merakey policies and standards.
The Team Supervisor assumes the onsite leadership role in assuming the health, safety and contentment of the individual's service.
Additionally, this position is responsible to supervise, support and discipline DSPs as necessary. TS's are expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in achieving objectives. Work will be reviewed by the supervisor (Program Specialist or Administrator) through regularly scheduled and informal meetings and evaluation reports.
