Job Description

The Digital Copywriter supports the Digital Marketing team by writing a variety of digital communications to maximize effectiveness of marketing plans and strategies for Safelite Group. The focus is on the customer experience with a goal of improving the customer or client's connection to Safelite.

Essential Activities:

 

  • Develop and implement digital communications leveraging multiple digital channels to build brand awareness, create positive customer experiences and drive results.
  • Collaborate with the digital teams (UX, email, advertising & social) to test measure and refine the language used in order to improve the overall effectiveness of the communication.
  • Write clear, compelling, customer-centric communication pieces that bring the Safelite brand to life. Materials include but are not limited to websites, blog posts, SEO content, emails, social media, and digital ads
  • Compose communications supporting both local and national advertising Safelite campaigns.
  • Serve as a customer communication resource for stakeholders, as assigned, to evaluate, edit, enhance and maintain copy to ensure consistent Safelite brand messaging across all channels.
  • Work in concert with Safelite brand and communications, creative and digital teams to ensure alignment of internal and external communication messaging with Safelite brand standards and guidelines.
  • Help with managing projects across the digital teams.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years' experience preferred
  • Portfolio showcasing B2C and B2B examples
  • Creative and strategic thinking and demonstrated ability to translate complex business and people strategies into fun, practical, appealing messages is a must     
  • Excellent researching, copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience collaborating/concepting/brainstorming with internal and external communication, marketing and creative teams to create effective communications that increase associate engagement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office based software applications
  • Ability to adjust to fast-paced work environment
