We are seeking a SeniorDatabase Administrator who will be responsible for providing
database services to the organization. Some of the primary responsibilities of
this role include owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and
requests, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents, reviewing service
related reports (e.g.: database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily
basis to ensure service-related issues are identified and resolved proactively,
responding to database related alerts and escalations and working with the
entire organization to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.
This MS SQL Server DBA role requires knowledge in SSIS &SSRS Package
development deployment, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests
assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues, establishing and maintaining
communication with internal technology customers to keep them updated with
status, initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively
escalating issues and/or resolving within established timeframes. Ability to
work as a team with on-site and offshore resources.

and document database architectures, Data Modeling.
Build database schema,
tables, procedures and permissions
utilities and automated reporting
Create shell scripts,
Power Shell scripts for task automation
Analyze, consolidate and
tune database for optimal efficiency
Restore and recover
Install and test database
upgrades and patches
Provide 24/7 support for
critical situations during the on-call support on rotation basis.
Minimum of 5 years of MS
SQL Server DBA experience required.
Knowledge and experience
with Oracle databases beneficial, not required.
Willingness to learn new cloud-based
DB technologies and Mastering on the go.
Experience with DB
monitoring tools like SQL Sentry.
Experience with scripting
in SQL required, PL/SQL beneficial, not required.
Bachelor's degree from
four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft SQL Server
certification is plus.
