Content & Technology Solutions (CTS) is the industry leading content delivery platform. Clients seamlessly access organized and connected content that is easily discoverable, explorable, and procured via the Open:FactSet Marketplace. Data is delivered via a variety of technologies and formats that meet the needs of our clients' workflows. By enabling our clients to utilize their preferred choice of industry standard databases, programing languages, and data visualization tools, we empower them to focus on the core competencies needed to drive their business. The SBU contributes over $173M in ASV, with a double-digit year-over-year growth rate. Our solutions portfolio includes Standard DataFeeds, Data Exploration, OnDemand (API), Views, Cornerstone, Exchange DataFeeds, Benchmark Feeds, the Open:FactSet Marketplace, Quantopian Enterprise, and other non-workstation initiatives.

The Product Strategist will be responsible for driving the adoption of both content and solutions available on the Marketplace by collaborating with Open:FactSet data providers and various internal groups, including Engineering, Product Development, Strategy, and Sales. The Product Strategist analyst will be responsible for achieving expertise in all areas of quantitative finance and the cutting-edge solutions available on the Marketplace, while directly impacting the investment processes of our client base by producing research, sales collateral and training material for end users.


  • Develop and own advisory relationships with key customers to inform strategic decisions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert focused on thematic applications of specific content sets to investment workflows
  • Expand FactSet's capabilities and involvement in the data acquisition and evaluation process with key accounts
  • Drive the adoption of Open:FactSet Marketplace Content across the FactSet client base

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a similar field
  • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages
  • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, data science techniques, and/or strong interest in quantitative investment strategies
  • Expertise with relational database theory, data modeling, and query languages such as SQL
  • Knowledgeable of the alternative data landscape and the applications of that data for investment purposes
  • Willingness to Travel

Desired Attributes:

  • BA, BS, MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
  • CFA Charterholder or an exam candidate
