What you will do:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of complex health systems' operations and performance to solve a health client's most pressing challenges.
  • Leverage experience with and subject matter expertise in Medicare and or Medicaid policies to advise client on solutions for program excellence, quality, and safety, applying to a spectrum of operational environments across the provider, payer, research, life science, and public health segments.
  • Research and analyze current and proposed federal and state health care policy, law and regulations concerning issues that may include but are not limited to health care reform and payment policy, health insurance regulations and requirements, State Medicaid and public programs, mental and behavioral health, health information technology, data reporting and health analytics, and other priority topics for the healthcare business.
  • Represent CNSI on various internal and external stakeholder groups and committees as needed.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for junior employees, serving as a leader on client teams and internal teams alike.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
  • Work on unusually complex problems and provide business solutions that are highly creative.
  • Act as leader on large programs and projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives.
  • Maintain up to date documentation by tracking and recording changes to policies and procedures.
  • Assure timely review and approval of relevant policies and guidelines by established Committees.
  • Communicate effectively with subject-matter experts and extract from them the information necessary to implement new policies and procedures.
  • Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day Other duties and projects as assigned.


Who you are:

  • You have e a Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, healthcare or related field.
  • You have 8+ years' related healthcare experience in research analysis
  • You have Experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or related health care entities
  • You have Experience in Provider Enrollment, Eligibility, managed care, or insurance compliance preferred.
  • You have experience with Healthcare Policy Analyst activities & tracking federal mandate and state legislative changes compliance.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)
