Business Analyst Director
The role of Director of Business Analysis is to manage the production of complete, correct, feasible, prioritized, traceable, and verifiable business, functional and non-functional requirements by utilizing various requirements elicitation techniques. This position manages requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role is a member of the Technology Leadership Team and reports directly to the Vice President of Business Services.
What you will do: • Leads the Business Analysis team and is accountable to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, understood and disseminated appropriately to key customers, clients, business stakeholders, and IT teams • Implements deliverables, ensuring quality and on-time delivery • Leads by metrics, providing an executive business analysis dashboard for projects • Provides strategic direction across all programs • Leads on quality assurance management of resources, cost, risk, and scope • Directs the development of business, functional, and non-functional requirements as a member of a large cross-functional team • Uses tools and best practices to systematically measure and improve business analysis, enforcing process improvements • Facilitates and provides leadership in requirements elicitation meetings by using various elicitation techniques such as use case modelling, prototyping, process flowing, role shadowing, and interviewing • Collaboratively works with project teams to evaluate technology solutions and to create solutions designs • Formulates the strategic direction for quality assurance and business analysis services • Influences and effectively communicates by developing strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders • Translates strategies into current and future action plans • Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management • Consults on documentation related to release notes, training material, and operational readiness • Provides accurate requirement status updates to project teams • Manages risk and ensures that proper mitigation plans are implemented and communicated appropriately to the customer and team • Ensures that constant innovation is encouraged in all aspects of business analysis and enforces alignment to industry standards • Possesses strong understanding of strategic intent as defined in CNSI’s strategic plan • Leads transformation and change management initiatives pertaining to the Business Analysis team and CNSI’s overall business strategy objectives, working closely with the senior management leadership team • Leads departmental and cross team process improvement initiatives • Provides customer demonstrations in relation to processes and products
Who you are:
You have a Bachelors’ Degree or Masters’ Degree with 10- 12 years of business analysis experience
You have 5+ years of technical leadership experience at large complex organizations, including leading centralized or matrixed teams
You have 10+ years of experience in requirements management
You have 7+ years of experience in business process analysis and system analysis
You have a Medicaid / Medicare (healthcare) background
You have Resource Management experience
You have Business Analysis Process (SDLC, documentation procedures) experience
You have Management & Leadership skills
You have a high-level of technical understanding
