The role of the Senior Healthcare Business Analyst at CNSI is to develop documentation related to complex projects and information systems and apply business analysis knowledge to review and analyse system problems and recommended solutions; to include, managing scope changes. This role will also develop and review use cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create and modify requirements documents and design specifications

What you will do:

  • Participates in strategic planning exercises with senior management and creates multi-year roadmaps for the evolution of our products and services
  • Follows the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and demonstrates strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, best practices, and procedures and applies them to projects to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Provides day-to-day supervision of the Business Analysis team and works under minimal to no supervision from senior management, only as required
  • Manage resources (people, process, technology) across the Business Analysis team
  • Manages the Business Analysis process across multiple projects
  • Collaborates with business users, technical, and functional team members to understand and define business requirements
  • Manages and ensures business requirements are met and provides guidance to the team
  • Responsible for ensuring bi-directional traceability matrix of requirements are provided
  • Provides leadership and direction across the enterprise business by understanding the business process, end user requirements and requirements management lifecycle
  • Supports technology, functional and management teams to make product / solution decisions by collaborating with the cross-functional subject matter experts
  • Applies proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of industry best practices to guide the Business Analysis team on issues related to business requirements
  • Enforces the use of business analysis best practices and holds team accountable for adhering to those practices.
  • Sets attainable goals for team members to meet client / project commitments
  • Analyzes market trends to ensure CNSI technology is in line with industry standards and best practices
  • Recommends new processes where needed to improve quality, cost, or on-time delivery

Who you are:

  • You have a Bachelors’ Degree with a minimum of 10 years of total professional experience
  • You have 8+ years of technical experience in business analysis, requirements definition, use case development, etc.
  • You have 5+ years of management experience at large complex organizations, including leading centralized and/or matrixed teams
  • You have experience in the healthcare industry 
  • You have domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or healthcare verticals
  • You have Provider Management and Enrollment System experience
  • You have experience with the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies (i.e. Agile, etc.)
  • You have experience participating in strategic planning activities and developing multi-year roadmaps
  • You have Requirements management tool experience (i.e. Regrace Web, Jira, CaliberRM, RequisitePro, Next Door Generation, etc.)
  • You have experience in business analysis industry best practices and requirements management lifecycle
  • You have strong knowledge of SQL
  • You have strong people management skills
