Operations Monitoring Center Security Guard Summary/Objective
Monitor various security control alarm & CCTV systems for multiple locations from the Security Operations Centers (SOC). The SOC Operator is responsible for investigating the alarm and extraordinary conditions and reporting all emergencies and unusual incidents to Security Supervision, Building Security, other SOC’s, and Law Enforcement as necessary.
Operations Monitoring Center Security Guard Job Description:
Develop an expertise in the use of CCTV & Access Control security systems applications.
Review CCTV Maintenance Reports with security supervision on items requiring attention.
Review Alarm History reports and brief security supervision regarding an unusual activity or alarms not responded to in an appropriate manner.
Direct operators in dispatching security officers to respond to emergencies and suspicious activity.
Assists in emergency situations as appropriate and according to the client and security department policies and procedures.
Completes reports in accordance with Security Department policies and procedures.
Communicates effectively with all departments.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all information.
Performs other duties as assigned.

NO Security Clearance
Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
Must have a clean and valid Driver's License
Must Access Control and CCTV experience
Must have a high school diploma or GED
A valid New York State security license
At least two verifiable employer
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
