Parsons is a leading contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense and we are seeking engineers who understand modern software development on embedded and PC-based systems, engineers with a drive to learn, and engineers who want to work on the nations toughest problems.

The successful candidate will be an entry to mid-level Software Engineer, eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance up the level of TS/SCI.

Selected candidates will support the senior engineer and subject matter expert with software reverse engineering and cyber analysis, such as: perform static/dynamic analysis, develop stub/driver tools to excite the software, develop secondary instrumentation and graphical user interface tools to capture real-time data, innovate alternative processes and methodology, and document critical findings and characterizations.

This opportunity is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have (at least) a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyber Engineering, or other related technical discipline
• 3.0 GPA or above
• 0-2+ years of related experience (open to new/entry level)
• Applicants selected for employment must be a U.S. Citizen and will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information and materials
• Fundamental understanding of engineering processes
• Fundamental understanding of software development processes
• Ability to self-research and problem solve
• Ability to articulate logical and process flow
• Effective communication skills with technical team members, managers, and customers
