Job Overview

TravelClick’s Connectivity department enables interoperability to drive bookings and revenue to our 7,000+ independent hotels through integration between our systems and those of key travel industry partners such as Online Travel Agencies and Property Management Systems. To enable growth within the connectivity space, we are recruiting for a dedicated VP, with strong business development and product strategy experience who will own all aspects of building and maintaining key industry relationships.

Functional Description

  • Partner management strategy across OTA partners (, Expedia, Hotelbeds, Ctrip, etc.), PMS partners (Oracle, Agilisys, Protel, etc.) and RMS partners (Ideas, Duetto, Infor, etc)
  • Business vision / strategy, working with other product lines to negotiate partnerships which drive desired business outcomes
  • Engaging and actively managing new and existing connectivity partners and creating new partnership opportunities.
  • Drive new business opportunities with connectivity partners including contract negotiation.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with new emerging and/or disruptive players

What we are looking for

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Must have 5+ years of people management experience
  • Must have 5+ years of B2B experience in a sales-driven culture 
  • Must have 5+ years of contract negotiation experience
  • Must have 7+ years of business development experience 

Additional Characteristics

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • 10+ years of Hospitality experience or technology experience
  • Growth oriented thought leader
  • Sales and relationship-building skills
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to see the big picture but also the desire to dive into details to find new growth opportunities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bright, quick, pro-active decision maker with strong people skills, who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues at all levels
