Ensure that office copies of bidding documents are kept current by incorporating any changes and updates. Also maintains database of subcontractors.
Post amendments to RFP documents.
Updates subcontractor database.
Maintains documents table.
Distributes fax quotes on bid-day.
Sets-up and breaks-down bid-room configuration.
Creates/updates project quote files after bid.
Assists document control clerk in receiving hardcopy documents (check-in, stamp).
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Minimum high school diploma/GED required. One year experience in handling construction documents preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs, especially electronic media and construction-related software. Effective organizational skills.
Physical Demands: Some light lifting may be required (50lbs), walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading.
Environmental Conditions: Frequently on site and subject to hot cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.
