Be part of the systems team creating the world’s best Wi-Fi. Work on the core of Plume’s technology, creating adaptive optimization technology for Wi-Fi networks. Help us analyze and improve the performance of our Wi-Fi networks, which are being used by consumers worldwide.
The work involves state of the art optimization techniques, machine learning, specification and use of wireless measurements, and analysis of network performance. The algorithms are all implemented in the cloud, using an agile development process so that your work benefits the products your friends are buying immediately!
Algorithms and optimization for a Wi-Fi system with multiple APs and meshing between APs, including the following algorithms
Estimation and data filtering from raw data
Mixed integer linear programming optimization
Machine learning including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and reinforcement learning
Efficient implementation of algorithms
Development of computationally efficient algorithms
Use of commercially available optimization tools
Production coding of massive scale real time and offline jobs
Use of modern data science tools including Spark, Spark streaming, MQTT, RabbitMQ, Probuf, MongDB, S3
Strong coding ability in Python, Scala
Experience processing large data sets in real time and offline
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
