The Growth and Strategy Lead will develop strategies in the following areas:
How our capabilities will be integrated to meet existing/new customers' needs
How we will garner senior leader stakeholder support and advocacy to increase visibility of our capabilities/programs
How we can posture ourselves as an organization to move in the direction the Army/Air Force/DoD at large is going (i.e. BDP/GN strategy, integration of existing investments strategy, etc.)
The Successful candidate will maintain situational understanding of:
DoD senior leader turnover, initiatives, congressional testimonies, promotions
Lower level organizational charts for all stakeholder organizations and their authorities/areas of responsibility
Capture opportunities in the directorate's pipeline to align with the above strategies
Political atmosphere between decision-makers in stakeholder organizations and who the influencers are
This lead will Develop, manage, and facilitate demonstrations and engagements by:
Authoring briefing materials
Hosting strategy sessions before engagements to identify desired outcomes and draft talking points
Participating/briefing in demonstrations and engagements to speak on behalf of the programs and capabilities
Capturing key data points relevant to program, directorate strategy, and ultimately Parsons ELT interests to author AARs that are sent up the chain
Owning customer relationships and/or being a familiar touchpoint across customer spaces to enable the above activities
Bridge the gap between other directorates/organizations within Parsons to bring capabilities/opportunities together for a One Parsons effort (i.e. joint demos, capture opportunities proposing multiple technologies, etc.)
Work with Washington Operations to ensure equities are defended on the Hill and align to DoD priorities
BS Degree in political science, international relations, or a related field, MS preferred
2+ years of over years of experience and mainly working for a Military Service Department Staff, OSD, Joint Staff or Combatant Command
2 years experience within the DoD in an operational, planning, or PPBE role
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Secret clearance.
