Job Overview

The Director will have overall responsibility for how we position, market, and grow two of our fastest growing products. Over the last 3 years we have made transformational investments in our Reservations and GMS products to reinforce and strengthen our market position. In that time period we have signed several marquee customers and experienced tremendous growth in the business. We are recruiting for a leader to help us achieve our next phase of growth by dramatically reshaping market conception and awareness of our product. This leader will play a critical role in working with external partners, industry influencers, sales, product development, and operations to evangelize our capabilities. This leadership role will be providing critical feedback and influence into our overall product strategy and sales strategy.  

Functional Description

  • Own overall product go to market strategy and plan (i.e. budget, what channels, audiences, messages, etc.)
  • Measure ROI on all product go to market initiatives and adjust roadmap/strategy accordingly
  • Ensure existing customers and prospects are aware and understand the value of new product features and enhancements
  • Drive thought leadership and quality in client-facing presentations, case studies and other artifacts that demonstrate the value of our solutions and product enhancements
  • Lead execution of various summits and events throughout the year for industry influencers, top clients and prospects meant to drive new leads to our sales teams
  • Develop partnerships with external partners to grow new sales
  • Represent the voice of the customer and serve as a key input into shaping our product roadmap
  • Ensure adoption of new product enhancements and gain insight into key barriers to adoption
  • Lead a high performing team that is critical to the success of the business
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams (product, operations, customer care, etc.)



What we are looking for

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of product experience required 

Additional Characteristics

  • 8+ years of total product experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or sales strategy roles
  • Ability to travel occasionally (~10%)
  • Comfort speaking to and presenting to customers
  • Ability to structure and operate marketing programs with partners
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams (product, operations, customer care, etc.) 
  • Results and outcome driven
  • Experience creating high quality client facing presentations or marketing material
  • Track record of excellence and continuous improvement  
  • Self-starter, takes full ownership and accountability over responsibilities
  • Hospitality / travel industry experience preferred
  • MBA preferred
