The Manager-In-Training (MIT) program is a fast-track leadership development program for entry level management candidates. As an MIT you will be actively involved in an intensive training curriculum that integrates an introduction and general understanding into Rich Products' culture, processes, products, customers and the food manufacturing industry.
An individualized curriculum is developed for you, focusing on the functional competencies and the drive for innovation. You will have a mentor who will provide consistent guidance and coaching during the program.
The program is an 18-24 month development commitment and consists of a combination of corporate orientation and on the job training rotations. Each rotation will build to provide an overall plan to develop innovative and strategic results. Possible rotations will include Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Business Process and New Platform Acceleration (NPAT). In addition, you will work closely with your mentor for competency skill development.
Graduating Spring of 2020.
Preference will be given to an MBA (or Masters equivalent) and will be based on our business disciplines relevant to our Global Food, Innovation and Customer Driven culture with a concentration in business including Sales, Marketing or International Business.
Demonstrated leadership in activities on and off campus.
Demonstrated ability to absorb information quickly and apply learned concepts into business projects.
Demonstrated ability to be assertive, self-driven and flexible.
One Professor recommendation.
Ability to Travel. Some rotations (such as Sales) will require overnight travel - @50%. Some may require a temporary relocation for 1 - 3 months.
Preference will be given to those who have experience working/interning in their field of study and/or entrepreneurial experience.
