We believe that by establishing a solid foundation of knowledge, understanding and trust with each of our patients, we enrich their health and enhance their lives.We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join a dynamic Family Urgent Care team supporting the Plymouth/Cordage Park practice of Atrius Health/Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Under the direction of the department chief, nurse leader or designee, the incumbent is a professional nurse who provides practice management support to a clinical team, recognizing the patient as the central focus. Monitors acutely ill patients during the patient visit. Performs procedures that are within the scope of the Flu Clinic responsibilities of the professional nursing practice.Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing. Possess a current license to practice as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills and Experience: Minimum of one year experience required in medical, surgical, ambulatory care required. Previous Flu Clinic experience a plus. Proficient skills in administering shots/inoculations required. EMR and strong computer skills required. EPIC or compatible system experience a plus.
