We believe that by establishing a solid foundation of knowledge, understanding and trust with each of our patients, we enrich their health and enhance their lives.Summary of PositionUnder general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist and in accordance with Atrius Health policies and procedures, federal and state laws and regulations, and pharmacy professional standards, prepares and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical items to patients.Oversees and develops the daily activities of support personnel, maintains highest day to day pharmacy operations standards, and continuously monitors to ensure best practice behaviors within the Atrius Health environment.Education: Graduate of accredited school of Pharmacy; Pharm D or Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required. Must currently be a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Massachusetts with an active pharmacist license without restrictions from the MA Board of Pharmacy.Skills and Experience: Three years' experience in high volume retail pharmacy preferred.Must possess working knowledge of pharmacy operations and cash handling experience.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.Must be team oriented and demonstrate excellent customer service skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and colleagues.Working Conditions:Busy office environment with frequent deadlines and interruptions. Position requires extensive public contact. Must be able to lift up to moderately heavy (10-20 pounds) supplies and stand for extended periods of time.
