We currently have a per diem position for an experienced Ultrasonographer to support our busy Maternal Fetal Medicine division at our Kenmore practice of Atrius Health. You will perform Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) studies including anatomy scans and nuchal translucencies and provide ultrasound guidance for diagnostic procedures. This position reports to the MFM Ultrasonographer Supervisor with a dotted line to the physician management of MFM Ultrasound.
Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent education, training or experience). Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographer program and an active certification by the ARDMS in OB/GYN. Must maintain 30 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) documentation every 3 years for certification. CPR certification required by the state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills and Experience: Thorough knowledge and understanding of MFM ultrasound practices and procedures, typically acquired by a minimum of three to five years of experience as a MFM sonographer.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Experience with ultrasound reporting software and electronic medical records (EMR). Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
