Job Description
This is an exciting chance for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge. You would be responsible for accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into our system. As a Prescription Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification, and enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained. To help support development and maximize workflow, you may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.

Schedule M-F 9:00am-5:30pm & rotating Saturdays (subject to change)

The position will be work from home once the training is complete. Required to be on site for 60 days (subject to change as needed) prior to working from home for training.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 months of pharmacy technician experience (including entering prescriptions) required

- Possess a Tech in Training license but after 2 years are required to be certified with PTCB or NHA (National Healthcareer Association).

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience highly preferred, but not required

- Ability to read and interpret prescription terminology and medications

- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred

High School diploma or equivalent required
