The Senior Inside Sales Representative holds significant responsibility for inside sales at the branch and plays a leading role in implementing the branch's business plan. This position is dedicated to underground trench safety equipment rental and supply needs; customers include contractor companies, non-building, industrial and commercial building contractors. Job responsibilities will include a variety of branch operational functions such as superior customer relations to call-in and walk-in customers, sales and rental of equipment, showroom displays and merchandise marketing. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction with all inside and outside branch staff and processing rental quotes, reservations and invoices in compliance with company policies.
Additional responsibilities include acting as the Subject Matter Expert for Infrastructure Testing products and services to support the ISR's, OSR's, and BM's within the metro area and district. As the subject matter expert resource for Infrastructure Testing consultative selling, the Sr. ISR provides training for internal customers and sales project support to customers for new and existing Infrastructure Testing product lines, while educating the metro and district on Infrastructure Testing products and applications. RequirementsSuperior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified, the ideal candidate must have 2+ years of sales experience, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Diligent attention to safety and working knowledge of trench safety products and applications is preferred. We also look for candidates with excellent interpersonal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A concentration in business administration or marketing is considered a plus. Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
