Purpose of Role
The position leads the dynamic Biscuits Channels Packaging team in NA, responsible for 2 BUs, leading a high number of initiatives in Mondelez plants and Co-Manufacturers, interfacing directly with the senior members of the category and managing a team of 5 engineers. The Sr. Group Leader for Packaging Biscuits Channels is directly responsible for Innovation, Quality Improvement and Brand Maintenance initiatives for different channels, Food Service and e-Commerce, besides the development of specific packaging formats across the Biscuits portfolio.
Responsible for delivery of R&D packaging technical programs for Growth, Quality Improvements and Brand Maintenance for Channels, Food Service and e-Commerce across NA.
Responsible for coaching and development of talent in the Packaging Biscuits Channel team and contribute to the broader packaging team in Biscuits NA
Leads multidisciplinary project teams for strategic Packaging programs for Biscuits Channels NA to meet defined objectives
Identifies business requirements to drive functional innovation approach and guide technical roadmaps and programs
Influences Biscuits NA strategic plans through strong technical leadership. Proactively bring new ideas and innovation to the Biscuits NA business.Recommend resource requirements and influence the teams to drive implementation
Develop and deliver the functional capability agenda

Cross country and cross category teams within and outside the function VPs and directors of RDQ, Directors of ISC and BUs Category Marketing and Sales Leaders
Bachelor's degree in packaging technology, engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years experience in development and commercialization
Experience in leading teams and track record of delivering results
Experience in formulating strategy, planning, problem solving, project management while operating in a dynamic and outcome oriented environment
