Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
Performs functions to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of existing sales accounts within assigned territory.
Solicits orders by personally visiting new and existing accounts.
Familiarize established accounts with new products and developments.
Investigates and resolves customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and submit regular reports on activities and sales volume.
Keep information on competitive products, promotional matter, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Inform company of competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests.
Settle cash accounts and invoices with Accounts Receivable in a timely accurate manner.
Possession of and operating a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; one to two years related experience, preferably in retail sales and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, write simple correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Spanish bilingual abilities preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, in addition to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished (in written, oral, or diagram form) and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and etc.), and order processing systems (such as Logility, Microstrategy, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Requires a current state driver's license
Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (i.e. TABC License – Texas)
Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle.
